What's Goin' On? Motown in Oak Ridge Park

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in Clark.

Get on up and head to Oak Ridge Park in Clark for a classic Motown tribute show. Dr. K's Motown Review will perform the hits that topped the charts in 1960s, including songs by Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and the Four Tops. The concert is free and starts at 7:30 p.m., the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders announced in a press release.

Paul Korman – also known as "Doctor K" – will lead his eight-member band and the audience on a trip back to the roots of Motown, singing in costume and a variety of styles.

The concert is part of Union County's Summer Arts series, which includes three more concerts this month. Next week, The Rat Pack will play the sounds of Frank Sinatra and revive an almost forgotten, smoky New York of yesteryear. The following week, The Nerds, a Jersey Shore party band loosely based on a Saturday Night Life sketch, will perform classic Top 40 hits. And for the series' final performance, the Jimmy Buffet cover band Jimmy and the Parrots will perform Aug. 25.
