Brief: South Street Cafe Moves to the Main Drag

Fanwood's two Italian eateries have joined forces.  vacated its two-story building with the characteristic turquoise awning at 217 South Avenue, and relocated to the Martine Avenue Deli, located at 42 South Martine Avenue. According to the owners, the deli has retained its name, but now offers pizza and pasta alongside sandwiches and cold cuts.

Although the merger has already taken place, the details remain hush-hush until the official grand opening in about two weeks. Details to come soon, so stay tuned.
