Temple Sholom Celebrates Shabbat Around The World Series

On Friday, December 2, 2011 at 6:30 pm, Temple Sholom of Fanwood/Scotch Plains will hold a family-friendly Mexican fiesta Shabbat dinner, followed by services led by one of the 6th grade religious school classes.  This is the first dinner in a series of Shabbat Around The World events to be held by the congregation.

Participants will learn about Shabbat customs in Mexico, enjoy great music and make their own burritos at the Qdoba burrito bar.  The cost is $12 per adult, $8 per child ages 4 to 12 and free for children 3 and younger.  There is a maximum cost of $40 per family.  To register, visit www.sholomnj.org or call 908-889-4900.  All are welcome.

Founded in 1913, Temple Sholom is a Reform Jewish Congregation led by Rabbi Joel N.
