Fanwood's Sun Tavern To Change Ownership In April

Fanwood's Sun Tavern is set for new ownership come April 15 when the local restaurant goes to auction at the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Newark.

According to the appointed auctioneer's website, A.J. Willner Auctions, the Sun Tavern will be offered as a package including the restaurant's real estate, "C" liquor license, good will, fixtures, and equipment. No items will be auctioned separately and the tavern will not be closing it's doors during the process.

"This is a rare opportunity to purchase an operating full service restaurant through the bankruptcy court a deep discount," according to the A. J. Willner Auctions website.
