Ireland Mayor Joins Oh Brian's Pourhouse in Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Oh Brian's Pourhouse held a ribbon cutting on March 14 with a mayor from Ireland.


The following information was provided by the Borough of Fanwood.

With St. Patrick's Day upon us, the mayor of Shannon, County Clare, Ireland, Mike Fleming, visited Fanwood today to help the owners of Oh'Brian's Pourhouse on South Avenue cut the ribbon to their business.

Oh'Brian's, formerly Flannery's Pub, is owned by Brian Walter and new partner Brian Costello. The ribbon cutting, held in front of the bar, was conducted jointly by Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr and Shannon Mayor Fleming with the co-owners of Oh'Brian's.

Mayor Mahr also presented Mayor Fleming with a Key to the City and a framable print of the old Fanwood train station. Mayor Fleming will be participating in the Union County St. Patrick's Day Parade this Saturday in Union.
