Parker 3D in Scotch Plains Lights Up Atlantic City For The Holidays

The following information was provided by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

At the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Christopher Columbus is a 200' wide by 12' tall call to "Let it Snow" made of 3 tons of foliage and lights utilizing over 75,000 energy efficient LED lights.

At historic O'Donnell Park, 76 permanent trees have been lit in sparkling LED lights to create a winter wonderland effect. Nine trees become a light show that plays classic holiday music and synchronizes the lights every 15 minutes using a programmer made famous on YouTube and the Today Show.

These two shows are only a small part of the wide ranging holiday displays throughout Atlantic City this holiday season, ranging from projections to light pole ornaments and more. Many of these displays are funded with casino reinvested funds monitored by the CRDA.

Between these two shows there are over 153,000 LED lights connected by over 58 miles of copper wire and using over 4000 watts of sound.

These two shows were provided by Parker 3D, located in Scotch Plains, NJ. Director, John Carter said, "We were so happy to give people a good news story for Atlantic City". Rich Parker, president of Parker 3D said, "We have been doing great work for over 30 years in Atlantic City and this is our best yet."

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority was responsible for this ongoing push to make Atlantic City a holiday destination, among other incentives to build tourism year round.
