Readers' Choice: Who's Your Favorite SPF Florist?

They bail you out on anniversaries, birthdays — and if you've gotten yourself into trouble — so let everyone know who is the best florist in town.

Imagine surrounding yourself with beautiful flowers all day long, in the sweetest-smelling, every-day-is-the-first-day-of-spring establishment in Scotch Plains and Fanwood. How great would that be?

Now imagine that you're also the person who delivers beautiful expressions of love, happiness and joy as well as a comforting affirmation of life's beauty to someone who's going through a difficult time or suffered a loss?

Do florists get flowers from friends and family? Not sure who'd deliver to them, but in any event, here's your chance to brighten up their day.

Cast your ballot, leave a comment to tell us what makes them so special, and check back during the week — and on Friday when we throw a figurative Patch bouquet to the men and women who earn your support for their hard work.

The worst is Scotchwood. Their idea of customer service is to reach into your wallet...

Apple Blossom Flower Shop has my vote. The difference really is in the details. Their creativity, workmanship, and customer service is second to none. They only sell the freshest and most fabulous flowers. I find it quite interesting and telling that the owner, Lisa Mohn, knows most everyone by name, and that she takes a great deal of pride in everything that they do there. I have personally worked with her on many special events, and have seen first-hand the warm and gracious appreciation, and accolades she receives from her customers.

Lisa's work is fabulous! Apple Blossom Flower Shop is is the total package. Lisa creates beautiful floral arrangements, has great prices and will patiently help you decide the appropriate gift to go along with any occasion. Apple Blossom Flower Shop carries other gift items such as candy, chocolate and jewelry helping you to make just that one stop.

Love Lisa Mohn! I work right next to her at Six Interiors, and I go in there quite often just to see what she's working on. She can take a simple tulip bouquet and add some greens and wrap it up to look spectacular. Always with a smile and great suggestions. If you haven't been to Apple Blossom, you're missing out.

You can line up one arrangement from each Flower Shop side by side, unlabeled and have people pick the one they like the best. Lisa would be the one most picked.

Funny, never heard of Apple Blossom but will be goiving it a try. Gray's Florist up on Rt. 22 has doen some beautiful arrangements for me. I must say, Scotchwood is okay but it bothers me that the place looks like a dump outside. That sign out front is horrid, especially now that downtown Fanwood is looking much better. Never understood why they reinstalled it after it fell down several years ago. It looks damaged and decrepit!
