Sun Summerfest at The Sun Tavern Tomorrow
The Tavern will host an outdoor concert tomorrow, as well as next Saturday, featuring local bands.
, 15 South Avenue, Fanwood, NJ, will for the first time host a series of outdoor concerts.
The Tavern will host two shows, which they have titled "Sun Summerfest 1" and "Sun Summerfest 2."
The first outdoor concert will take place Saturday, July 21, beginning at 6 p.m.

Central Jersey-based band Dreamer will headline the evening, playing classic rock hits and featuring a light show once the sun goes down.
J.C. and the Boys will play inside the Tavern following Dreamer’s set.

“J.C. and the Boys are always a raucous good time, and you definitely want to stay inside for their fun-filled set,” said the Tavern’s General Manager Anthony Lospinoso in an email.
The following Saturday, July 28, "Sun Summerfest 2" will feature two outdoor bands.
Female fronted blues and classic rock group RetroFix Band will kick off the evening, returning after a brief hiatus from the Sun Tavern to their self-proclaimed home-base.
The 90s-sounding River Phoenix will return to Sun Tavern after a successful debut a few months ago.
“Playing a great mix from the 90s, River Phoenix make like wily vets as they rock out!” Lospinoso said.
Food will be served on the patio, and beer will be available in the Tavern parking lot during both events.
