Winter Pop-Up Shops Open in Scotch Plains This Weekend

A winter marketplace is opening up in Scotch Plains beginning this Saturday, Dec. 8 at 8 a.m.

The market will be held at Bigg Playdate on East Second Street featuring several vendors from the Scotch Plains Farmer’s Market as well as new vendors that the township hasn’t seen yet.

The market will feature a variety of foods and be filled with gifts that are great for the holidays.

Paolo’s Kitchen is one of the vendors that will be featured at the winter market.

Proprietor of Bigg Lisa Schiller, said Paolo’s features amazing gluten free meal options.

Other vendors include Gourmet Nuts & Fruits, which features pre-packaged gifts that are perfect for for hostesses and teachers.

Also City-Girl Foods, Krakos Polish Deli, Baker’s Bounty, Union Ville Vineyards and more will be on hand at the first indoor market in Scotch Plains.

Hours are Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8a.m. to 2p.m.
