New, Renovated and Relocated Stores on the Horizon at Menlo Park Mall

The retail scene at Simon’s Menlo Park Mall this spring and summer will see several new additions along with the relocation and expansion of a few existing stores that are already part of the shopping center’s exceptional lineup of fashions, dining options and more.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these new stores and introduce the changes being made to a few others,” said Suzy Lichter, area director of mall marketing for Menlo Park Mall. “Shoppers will always find the most sought-after fashion, quality merchandise and unique cuisines they’ve come to expect from Menlo Park Mall and we’re pleased to further add to that selection.”

  • Icing - With more than 400 locations across North America, Icing is the “it” store for the 20-something young woman, offering unique room decor, an extensive cosmetics line and trendy yet classic accessories and jewelry for the night, weekend or office.  Look for Icing this spring in lower level Nordstrom Wing.
  • Maki of Japan – Promoting high quality teriyaki chicken, beef, vegetable and shrimp dishes, Maki of Japan’s  meals are prepared fresh, in an entertaining and exciting way by its chefs before each and every valued customer with an innovative cooked-to-order Hibachi style presentation. This quick service eatery will make its debut at Menlo Park Mall’s food court later this spring.
  • Smashburger -Fast becoming every city's favorite place for burgers, Smashburger will join Menlo Park’s food court this spring. Smashburger is perfect for eating in or having a better burger to go, a quick workday lunch, the weekend burger and beer, date night, a family dinner, or with the team after the game. Along with great-tasting burgers and smashfries, Smashburger serves up other items like smashchicken sandwiches and signature salads, veggie frites and haystack onions and Häagen-Dazs shakes.
  • David’s Tea - Founded in Canada in 2008, David’s Tea will open its first location in New Jersey at Menlo Park Mall this summer. It offers over 150 types of tea, including exclusive blends, limited edition seasonal collections, traditional straight teas and exotic infusions from around the globe.

In addition to these new stores, several existing retailers are undergoing renovations, relocating or expanding, including:

  • Disney Store - In April, the Disney Store will debut an exciting new design in its new location in the mall’s lower level Nordstrom Wing. Allowing Guests to connect with Disney characters and stories in an immersive and entertaining way, the redesigned Disney Store integrates the latest in Disney storytelling to create a magical shopping experience for fans of all ages. The new Disney Store design includes a Disney Princess castle, magical trees and in-store theater featuring the latest in Disney entertainment, as well as a customized skyline with iconic Disney storytelling scenes and local landmarks.
  • dELiA*s - With an appeal to teen shoppers between ages 12-19, dELiA's is the ultimate teen girls & junior fashion shopping destination. Find everything in teen and junior clothing that you love, like teen and junior jeans, dresses, swimwear, prom, graphic tees, tops, accessories, shoes, boots and all of the hottest teen girl's trends. dELiA*s will open its new location in Menlo Park Mall’s lower level  Nordstrom Wing this spring.
  • Zara – With the latest in fashion for women, men and children, Zara’s offers a full apparel lineup that includes dresses, jackets, shoes, jeans, scarves and a choice of accessories as sunglasses, bags and wallets. The store will expand into a new location near Center Court.

Another recent addition to Menlo Park Mall that further enhances its popularity as a dining destination is Season’s 52, a fresh grill and wine bar that invites diners to savor a selection of seasonally inspired dishes, sample award-winning international wines and unwind in a casual, sophisticated setting.
