2009 Mr. and Mrs. Fanwood Announced

The couple and their children will represent Fanny Wood at the annual fall fair.

Fanny Wood Day is still a couple weeks away, but one local family is already gearing up.

Fanwood residents Doug and Mary Anne Germinder, along with their three children, have been selected as the 2009 Mr. and Mrs. Fanwood for the 14th annual Fanny Wood Day, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 4.

Each year, the Fanny Wood Day Committee bestows a local couple with the honor of representing the borough's famous "fictional" first lady. The committee chooses a couple for their ability to exemplify the volunteer and community spirit of Fanwood.
