5 Things: Blood Drive, 'Wizard of Oz' Sing-Along, Seniors Day-Trip and More
The events and issues to keep in mind today.
- "Tangrams, Trolls and Tales," a book club for children entering kindergarten through third grade, holds its weekly meeting from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., according to the Fanwood Borough website.
- Fanwood's library also hosts a "Wizard of Oz" sing-along at 7 p.m. Attendees are invited to dress as their favorite characters and become "citizens of the Emerald City." .
- The weekly chess workshop for teens meets at 5 p.m.
- The Scotch Plains Donor Center of New Jersey Blood Services hosts a blood drive from 2 to 8:30 p.m. The center is located at 2279 South Avenue.
