The events and issues to keep in mind today.
- The Barclay's PGA Tournament starts today and continues through Sunday, weather permitting, at Plainfield Country Club in Edison. No roads will be closed in Scotch Plains or Fanwood, but the Scotch Plains Police Department warns that motorists should expect heavy delays due to extensive detours in Edison.
- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Board of Education holds its first regular meeting of the 2011-2012 school year at 8 p.m. in the board's offices. For the agenda, click the PDF thumbnail at right.
