- The JCC of Central New Jersey's weekly volleyball night for adults continues tonight from 8 to 9:45 p.m. The games are informal and all are welcome, according to the event listing on Patch. .
- Residents with celiac can take advantage of two gluten-free cooking classes today. First, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Kings Cooking Studio in Short Hills presents a class on gluten free breads and coffee cakes. The class costs $50 and pre-registration is required. . Then, from 6 to 10 p.m., the Kings Cooking Studio offers an $85 class called "Festive Flourless Desserts for the Holidays." .
- The Republican Committee of Union County holds its annual county convention at 6:30 p.m. at Westfield High School. Candidates for the offices of Union County Freeholder, State Senate and State Assembly will be nominated.
