5 Things: More Mozart, 9/11 Memorial, Business Directory and More

The events and issues to keep in mind today.

  1. The Woodland String Ensemble performs at the Scotch Plains Public Library at 7 p.m.
  2. The Scotch Plains 9/11 Memorial Foundation is still accepting donations for the township's new memorial, which incorporates steel from the World Trade Center. To learn more and to donate, click here.

Scotch Plains business owners: Today is the final day to register for the Scotch Plains Business and Professional Association's member directory, which will be placed in retail and professional locations throughout the township, according to an email sent by the SPBPA.   4. The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, located at 68 Elm Street in Summit, presents Stephen Mallon's photography exhibit, "Next Stop Atlantic," through Sept. 25. For more information, click here.
