- Sample the spices of the world at a "Spice Bazaar" hosted by the Scotch Plains Public Library at 7 p.m., presented by Savory Spice Shop in Westfield. For more information, click here.
- The Australian-themed music and education group, "Didgeridoo Down Under," performs live in front of the Fanwood Memorial Library at 7 p.m. .
- The Scotch Plains Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building courtroom. [Update: The board will not be meeting tonight, according to Planning Board secretary Barbara Horev.]
- The Colonial Crossroads Chapter of the American Red Cross presents a free workshop on emergency preparedness at the Berkeley Heights branch of Summit Medical group. The program runs from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. .
