5 Things: Tea Party Lecture, Financial Workshop, BOE Meeting, Art Exhibit and More

The events and issues to keep in mind today.

  1. The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Tea Party presents lectures by former Congressional candidate Anna Little and her campaign manager, Russ Cote, at 7 p.m. at the Scotch Hills Golf Course. .
  2. The hosts the third and final installment of its series, "Financial Decisions in Transition Times." Tonight's program, starting at 7:15, is titled, "You Made it to Retirement – Now What?" .
  3. The holds its monthly regular meeting. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. at with a recognition of The Moonglowers, which clinched the state championship for the third straight year.
  4. The Amateur Computer Group of New Jersey hosts a workshop on repairing, refurbishing and recycling older computers, starting at 8 p.m. in the building. .
  5. Today's the last day to check out a student art exhibit at the Scotch Plains Donor Center of New Jersey Blood Services, located at 2279 South Avenue. The exhibit features works by New Jersey middle- and high-school students.
