5 Things: 'Too Close to Home,' Free Movie Night, Story Times, Borough Council Meeting
The events and issues to keep in mind today.
- Stay tuned for the third installment of "Too Close to Home," the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch's series on the ongoing legal fight between Union Catholic Regional High School and its neighbors. For a series overview, including links to parts one and two, .
- "Free Movie Night" continues Tuesday at LaGrande Park in Fanwood. This week, the Fanwood Recreation Commission screens the 2010 film, "Romona and Beezus." The movie runs from 8:30 to 10 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and bug spray. In the event of rain, the event will be held Wednesday.
- The Fanwood Memorial Library holds to children's story-times: one for children ages 3 and 4 at 10:30 a.m., and another for children entering grades 4 through 6 at 5 p.m. For more information, visit the library's online calendar.

- Fanwood's Mayor and Borough Council hold their monthly regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Borough Hall.
