On Wednesday, March 9th at 7:15 p.m., at Scotch Plains Municipal Building, 430 Park Avenue, Scotch Plains, The CHILD Organization is proud to welcome , Dr. Ilyse O’Desky, Pediatric Neuro-Psychologist,  presenting, A Comparative Study on ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s and Non Verbal Learning Disabilities.  Dr. O’Desky will provide a unique understanding of a fascinating and multifaceted topic that will provide help, resources and strategies for parents and teachers with their struggling child. This FREE program is part of the regular monthly programming sponsored by The CHILD Organization of Scotch Plains Fanwood and is open to the public.  Please RSVP for this program at 908.322.4020 as seating may be limited, or if you need Professional Development Hours. 

Needle Night Quilt Knitters meeting on March 4th

The monthly meeting of the “Needle Night” at the Fanwood Presbyterian Church will take place on March 4th, starting at 7:30 p.m. A number of quilts from this group (nearly 40) will be on display at the Harvest Quilter’s show on March 26th at the Willow Grove Presbyterian Church in Scotch Plains.

The Chelsea at Fanwood Presents “Ladies Night – Take Two”

On March 7th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., The Chelsea at Fanwood will present “Ladies Night – Take Two” which is an evening of pampering (including cocktails and hors d’oeuvres), featuring Meaghan Jarensky – Mrs. New York America 2010 speaking on healthy living and yoga. Suggested Donation is $10 per person, with the proceeds benefiting the NCJW Center for Women, out of Livingston, NJ. For more details, please call The Chelsea at (908) 654-5200.
