Beatles Sounds Make Their Way to Scotch Plains

Pat Dinizio's annual Halloween/Jam fest features four shows this year.

If you're a Beatles or Smithereens fan, this is a big weekend of music for you.

Pat Dinizio's fourth annual Halloween/Fan Jam/Concert Birthday Party is here again. The Smithereens lead singer's yearly fest features four nights of local concerts, starting Thursday with a private show for those who purchase a "Confessions of a Rock Star" package.

The fun opens up to everyone Friday night, with a party at the Italian American Hall in honor of what would have been John Lennon's 69th birthday. The Smithereens will recreate an entire Lennon album that evening, selected by the fans who purchased tickets in advance.
