Brief: Flags Fly at Half-Staff Friday to Honor Harvey

Former Clark and Scotch Plains resident James Harvey II, a sergeant in the U.S. Army, was killed in Afghanistan on Monday.

Flags across New Jersey flew at half-staff Friday in honor of , who died of wounds he sustained from small-arms fire Monday during combat operations against insurgents in the Ghazni province of Afghanistan. Gov. Earlier this week, Gov. Chris Christie that flags be lowered throughout the state.
