Brief: Section of Martine Ave Closed Starting Monday
Part of the thoroughfare will be closed for construction between King Street and Portland Avenue.
Starting Monday morning, a 1.2-mile section of one of Fanwood's busiest streets will be closed for construction for four days, according to the Union County Bureau of Traffic Safety and Maintenance. Martine Avenue, will be completely shutdown to traffic between King Street and Portland Avenue from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through as needed.
