Brief: FW Street Fair Features Visit from Dinosaurs

Fanwood's annual event will feature a mobile exhibit from the Museum of Natural History.

More than 12,000 local residents are expected to attend Fanwood’s12th annual Street Fair and Craft Festival on Sunday, Fanwood Business and Professional Association president John Crisafulli said. The event takes place on South Avenue and Martine Ave from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.

For the first time, this year’s street fair will feature a dinosaur exhibit from the American Museum of Natural History. “They will be bringing a 40-foot Winnebago, which the kids should love. My guess is it’s an interactive walkthrough in the bus,” Crisafulli said.

The fair, presented by the Fanwood BPA, will also include artists, vendors, music, rides and games, plus a visit from radio station NJ 101.5 FM.
