Editor's Notebook: This Week in Scotch Plains-Fanwood

A look back at week's news and events in Scotch Plains and Fanwood.

Governor Chris Christie's budget address garnered a lot of attention this week. Under the governor's new plan, which included an increase of state education aid by $250 million, Scotch Plains-Fanwood would receive over a $700K increase in aid. The Planning Board reached a decision on Shackamaxon, and the Raiders boys swimming team secured a spot in the state championship for the first time in ten years.
