Editor's Notebook: Week in Review

A look back at the past week's news and events.

The school budget was still very much the hot topic in the towns this past week.

With less than two weeks remaining until the April 20 election (when voters will vote on the nearly $80 million budget), many of you spoke out to us, sharing your feelings on the state of the budget and its impact on taxpayers and local children.

Several letters to the editor, including one from a local teacher, one from the Board of Education president, and one from the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Education Association president prompted quite the conversation on Patch.
