EMS Personnel Honored During Special Mass

The ceremony also remembered those who died on 9/11.

Scotch Plains and Fanwood's emergency responders were honored for their hard work this past weekend.

St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains celebrated their service during a special “Red, White and Blue” Mass on Saturday afternoon. The Mass honored the men and women who serve on the police force, fire department and rescue squad of Scotch Plains and Fanwood, but also served as a remembrance of those who perished on September 11, 2001.

Bishop Manuel Cruz, bishop for Union County, presided.
