The Township of Scotch Plains will have 50 or more cots at the Evangel Church on Terrill Road for residents still without power who may need a place to escape the cold.
The Church will be open for residents to stay from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.
If you have blankets, please bring them with you. The Township is also trying to get blankets from the county to use at the church.
The Scotch Plains Officer of Emergency Coordinator, Paul Malool, urges residents to inform any elderly neighbors or anyone who may be in need of a place of comfort that the shelter is available.

The Evangel Church on Terrill Road will have 50 or more cots for residents to sleep on to escape the cold.
