Fanwood Police Chief Issues Burglary Alert Tuesday

Chief Richard Trigo posted the alert on the police department's website, and distributed it via email.

Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo distributed the following alert via email late Tuesday afternoon: 

The is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the one hundred block of Vinton Circle. The person or persons entered the residence through a rear window sometime between Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. and Jan. 18 at 7:45 a.m.

The Fanwood Police Department is working with several surrounding jurisdictions who are experiencing similar break-ins.

If you have any information please call Detective Eugene Chin at 908-322-5000, ext. 119. I strongly encourage all residents to keep a vigilant watch in their neighborhood and to report any suspicious circumstances to the Fanwood Police Department immediately.
