First Round of H1N1 Vaccine Coming for Fanwoodians

The clinic will be held at Westfield High School.

Editor's Note: Information about this H1N1 vaccine clinic was posted on the Borough of Fanwood's Web site late last week, but was then taken down. Health Officer Megan Avallone told Patch Monday morning that the information was incorrect, but that the health department will announce the proper information on Tuesday.

The first H1N1 vaccine clinic will be held Nov. 10, according to the latest post on the Borough of Fanwood's Web site.

The borough announced  that the clinic, sponsored by the Westfield Regional Health Department, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. that day at Westfield High School. Vacine supply is limited and is offered on a first come, first served basis. This is the first of several clinics that will be offered to Fanwood residents.

Still no word on when the first clinic will be held for Scotch Plains residents. An official at the Rahway Regional Health Department, which oversees the township, said Thursday afternoon that H1N1 clinics had still not been scheduled.
