Flash Flood Watch Issued for Area

The front moving through Union County is expected to bring rain all day.

If you haven't noticed, it's pretty messy outside.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Union County through this evening. A slow-moving front is moving through this area and will bring rain throughout the day, with the heaviest showers this afternoon. A few thunderstorms are possible.

One to two inches of rainfall is expected, the report says, with the greatest risk of flooding in North Jersey, where rainfall has been the heaviest
