Flooding Closes Off Route 22 W Ramp in Scotch Plains

The ramp was closed as of 2:10 p.m.

Police have temporarily closed off access to the Bonnie Burn Road/Park Avenue ramp off of Route 22 Westbound in Scotch Plains.

Orange cones were put out to block access as of 2:10 p.m. The heavy rain throughout the day has caused flooding at the base of the ramp. If you typically take this exit, your best bet may be turning around in the Blue Star Shopping Center, although some parts of the parking lot there are starting to flood. The U-turn at Terrill Road is also an option.
