MyCentralJersey.com: Legacy of Fanwood Mom's Death Helps Raise Money for Rescue Squad

Approximately $3,000 has been raised so far.

The recent sudden passing of Fanwood resident Melissa Lewis has led her family to turn the loss into a way to help the borough rescue squad.

All monies donated in her memory have been requested for the Fanwood Rescue Squad, which in turn has earmarked them to help finance EMT elective courses, which are required to be completed each year. The state recently ceased funding for those courses, leaving EMT members to pay for the courses themselves.
