NJ.com: Home Sales on the Rise
New Jersey saw an increase during the second quarter of the year.
The National Association of Realtors is reporting that New Jersey experienced a double-digit increase in the number of existing homes sold in the second quarter over the first.
In Scotch Plains, so far this year, the average home sales per month is at 27, up 13.87 percent over last year. Fanwood has actually experienced a slight decrease, with an average of seven homes being sold per month, down 12 percent from last year.
