Photos: Library Lincoln Exhibit Gala

Locals came out for a first look at the special month-long exhibition.

The Scotch Plains Public Library officially unveiled its "Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, a Man for All Times" exhibit on Sunday.

To celebrate, the library hosted a special afternoon gala, attended by local leaders and others interested in getting a first look at the exhibition.

The library is one of 40 sites nationwide to host "Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times," which was organized by the Gilder Lehrman Institute to mark the 2009 bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth. Scotch Plains is the only New Jersey stop on the tour.
