Updated: The Start of the Storm

A glimpse at the snow in Scotch Plains-Fanwood in the early afternoon on Saturday.

It's official: the snow is here.

Fanwood resident Deirdre Coolidge submitted these photos taken of the snow from her home on Marian Avenue and around the borough this afternoon.

The first few in the bunch are from earlier, when the flakes had just started to fall. The rest are more recent, as the snow started to cover the streets and yards across the area.
