Press Release: Journey Across the Globe at The Sundance School “World’s Fair”

Grab your passports and pack your camera as The Sundance School takes you on an amazing trip around the world. Journey across the seven continents in our 4000 square-foot interactive exhibition, where you and your child will learn about the cultures, customs and wonders of more than a dozen countries. Exhibits include a tour of a medieval European castle and an Egyptian pyramid, a thrill ride through the Arctic region, a tour of India and China, a trek through South America, and other adventures.

The World’s Fair Happening is a culmination of the lessons that have been taught throughout the year at Sundance. This year’s theme has been ‘It’s a Small World’ in which the school weaved lessons about world geography, music, dance, language, art, governments and more into the curriculum. “Our annual Happenings such as The World’s Fair bring our year-long themes to life,” state Sundance founders, Jeff and Ginny Tobey. “This multi-sensory approach infuses the children with a sense of wonder and excitement that fosters a lifelong love of learning.”

The World’s Fair Happening runs from February 28th – March 9th with a special Open House on Saturday, March 5th between 9:30 am – 2:00 pm. Students learn about the practice of Origami on their journey through Asia as part of the Sundance School’s World’s Fair Happening.
