Raritan Valley Trains Not Running Between Union and Newark on Saturday

Buses will cover that portion of the route.

New Jersey Transit trains along the Raritan Valley line will not be running between Union Township station and Newark Penn Station on Saturday due to Conrail bridge replacement.

The transit agency will be providing buses to shuttle passengers between Union and Newark on Saturday. There could be delays along the Raritan Valley line on because of the situation. Riders are advised to plan their Saturday trips accordingly because of the train outage, which is expected to last most of the day.

NJ Transit suggests that Raritan Valley Line customers who are traveling to the Devils home opener at Prudential Center or to the Bruce Springsteen concert at Giants Stadium can use  service on the Northeast Corridor or Morris & Essex Line stations.
