Seminar to Reveal Hidden Health Benefits of Chocolate

Rutgers Cooperative Extension is hosting the free event in Westfield.

If you have a guilty love for chocolate, then a seminar in Westfield Wednesday night is sure to make you feel better about eating the sweet treat.

The Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County is sponsoring a free seminar tonight on the hidden health benefits of chocolate. Taught by nutrition expert Dr. Karen Ensle, the seminar will also offer some insights into the history of chocolate. Ensle will also provide tips on cooking, storing and selecting chocolates.

Registration for this event is mandatory and can be done up until 4 p.m. by calling 908-654-9854. As of 2 p.m., the class was only filled at half of its capacity. The seminar is being held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Union County Clerk's office at 300 North Avenue East.
