The township manager, Chris Marion, reported during the council meeting last night that approximately 63 people received the vaccination at the town's last clinic, which was held on Sept. 30 at St. John's Baptist Church.

The clinic on Oct. 24 will be the last of the season, but Marion said that the Rahway Regional Health Department, which oversees health services for Scotch Plains, is also encouraging residents, including the elderly, to consider getting the vaccine at one of the local pharmacies that are administering them.
