Scotch Plains Hedge Property Sale, Merger Meeting, Father's Day This Week

This week we'll tell you about the possible sale of the Scotch Plains-owned "Hedge Property" – an area of land between to the municipal building and Darby Road – that could potentially house a 5,200-square-foot or two 2,600-square-foot retail properties, according to Mayor Kevin Glover.
We'll attend the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Consolidation Study Commission's . The volunteer body is charged with analyzing the potential merits of a consolidation between Scotch Plains and Fanwood. The public is invited to attend the 7:30 p.m. meeting at the Board of Education building at Evergreen and Cedar Avenues.
