Tickets Still Available for Sunday Concert at JCC

The program will feature two folk singer-songwriters.

Seats are still available for Sunday night's musical performance by Rod Picott and Amanda Shires at the Jewish Community Center of Central NJ in Scotch Plains.

Picott is an Americana singer-songwriter, and Shires is a Texas fiddler/songwriter. The two musicians met at the Folk Alliance Conference in Austin, Texas, in 2006, and have played more than 150 shows together since throughout the U.S. and Europe.

The show at the JCC is $20 in advance. Tickets can be purchased by calling Simone Klein at 908-889-8800, ext. 214, or by stopping by the JCC front desk before 5 p.m. the day of the show. Tickets are $25 after 6 p.m. the day of the show. The concert starts at 7 p.m.

The performance is sponsored by the Cultural Arts and Education Department at the JCC and is part of its ongoing concert series.
