Cultural Jewish Holidays

The Jewish Cultural School & Society, the only secular humanistic Jewish Congregation serving Union County, will celebrate Erev Rosh Hashanah, Wed., 7-9pm  at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 67 Park St., Montclair. Suitable for all ages who can enjoy an hour-long secular humanistic Jewish presentation of songs, readings and shofar blowing. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dessert to share. Lily Burd, the third generation of her Elizabeth family to teach at JCSS, will be the featured speaker.  A donation welcomed to defray rental expenses.  For more information: www.jcss-nj.org; 973-200-8309.
