Glass Slipper Prom Dress and Formal Wear Sale

The Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield is proud to announce it will host its Second Annual Glass Slipper Boutique, a week-long sale featuring beautiful, gently worn dresses for teens ages 12 – 18. All dresses are $25. The goal of the sale is to enable young ladies, regardless of economic status, to attend their prom, dance, or formal  event in a beautiful dress – while supporting the Junior League’s community projects.   


The sale kicks off on Friday, April 5, with a Preview Party held 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM at the Jumble Store, the Junior League’s thrift store located at 110 Walnut Avenue in Cranford. The first 75 individuals to RSVP by email for the Preview Party will have enjoy  an evening of free refreshments and door prizes while browsing over 200 dresses available for sale.


The Glass Slipper Boutique officially starts on Saturday, April 6 and continues through Saturday, April 13. The Boutique will be featured on the second floor of the Jumble Store, which is open 10 AM – 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday, with an extended opening until 7 PM on Thursday.

Proceeds from the Boutique will support the community projects of the Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield, a 501 c(3) charitable organization that is affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues International. The Junior League is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
