"Rescuing the River" film and speaker

Originally scheduled for October 29, this program will now be held this coming Wednesday, November 14 at 6:30 at the Scotch Plains Public Library:

From pristine to polluted, "Rescuing the River"  traces industrial development along the Raritan River and current efforts to clean up one of New Jersey’s most important resources. Neil Maher, Associate Professor, Federated Department of History at NJIT-Rutgers, will lead a discussion after the film.

This Face to Face: Community Conversations program is made possible by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
