HUMBLEBRAG TO PERFORM TUESDAY AT WESTFIELD JAZZ FEST

HUMBLEBRAG TO MAKE NJ DEBUT AT WESTFIELD JAZZ FEST ON TUESDAY, JULY 30th

Humblebrag - an organ quartet that plays classic soul jazz, as well as originals, and features longtime Westfield resident Glenn Alexander on guitar - will make its New Jersey debut at Westfield's Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival on Tuesday, July 30th.  Humblebrag will perform from 7-9pm in front of the First Baptist Church on Elm Street.

Formed last year by Alexander and his bandmate in Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, saxophonist John Isley, Humblebrag promises to fill Westfield with two hours of groove-filled jazz, soul, some ingeniously reworked standards and several original compositions.

With its regular monthly gigs at 78 Below in New York’s Upper West Side, Humblebrag has been gaining a rabid following of fans wanting to get their funk on.  With Ron Oswanski on organ and Eric Halvorson on drums, Humblebrag has an impeccable pedigree, with its members performing and recording with the greats of the jazz, rock and blues world.
