"Ang Tatlong Rondalista" to Perform - Scotch Plains Library

The Scotch Plains Public Library is pleased to present “Ang Tatlong Rondalista” on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm to form part of the library's diverse programs available to the public.  For the hour long afternoon performance, ATR is going to play Filipino folk songs as well as a number of western music pieces.  (In photo from left are) Lito David plays the bandurria, Rudy Reyes the guitar, and Leon de Lara, the laud.  These three-man rondalla is an offshoot of a bigger group called University of the Philippines Alumni & Friends Rondalla (UPA&FR) which has been actively playing in cultural events for the past 18 years.

The concert will be open to the public without charge.  No registration is required.  The Scotch Plains Public Library
Is located at 1927 Bartle Avenue, one block from Park Avenue, in the center of the township.
