The Carriage House Poetry Series has organized a free poetry reading, which will feature distinguished poets Tony Gruenewald and Joan Cusack Handler. Tony's poems have appeared in The New York Times, Adbusters, Exit 13 Magazine, Slow Trains, U.S. 1 Worksheets and Edison Literary Review. He has also published a collection of poems, The Secret History of New Jersey. Joan Cusack Handler has extensive experience in poetry reading and leading creative writing workshops. Her poems have been published in Agni, The Boston Review, Poetry East, Southern Humanities Review, Journal of New Jersey Poets and The New York Times.
Following the featured performance, there is an open mic for audiences to read their poems.
