Holiday Boutique - The Thrift Shop of Fanwood/Scotch Plains

Holiday gift bargains are again available for sale at The Thrift Shop, 1730 E. Second Street, is hosting their annual Holiday Boutique.  This event will begin on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:00am.

All the items featured are brand new.   Many are still in their original packaging. They will be on display in the store’s main room.  Donna Kuhn, Boutique Chairman, has been saving and storing these gifts throughout the year. Because there is such a large inventory, they are priced reasonably for quick sale.  The table will be replenished daily so plan on stopping by a few times.

Some of the gifts included in the sale are Lenox china serving pieces, designer purses, ties and wallets for men, holiday decorations for the home, small appliances and costume jewelry.  Don’t forget to enter the free drawing for one of the four prizes.   While at the shop, fill out a piece of paper with name and phone number and put in the “prize bag.”   The drawing will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Winner need not be present to win.

This year there will be a free gift wrapping service on Saturday, Dececember 10, 2011.  Any gifts purchased on that day from the boutique table may be wrapped in a holiday wrapping paper compliments of the Thrift Shop staff.  The boutique sale will continue until Saturday, December 17, 2011 when the shop closes for the holidays. The store reopens on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10:00am.

The Service League is a volunteer organization whose members operate The Thrift Shop.  All profits from this and sales throughout the year are donated back into the local community’s charitable organizations.   Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 2:30pm and Friday and Saturday, from 1:00am to 1:00pm.  For more information, call the store at 908-322-5420.
