IHM to Host Healing Mass / Mass of Anointing

On Saturday April 2 at 11am Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish will host a “Healing Mass” or  Mass of Anointing.

The imposition of blessed oils is normally associated with the terminally ill but is also deemed appropriate for those troubled in mind, body or spirit.  As such, it represents a holistic approach towards the well-being of the individual in a communal setting  that acknowledges  man’s  need for repentance, reconciliation, and healing.  Accordingly, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is incorporated as part of the celebration  of the Mass.
