Needle Nite at Fanwood Presbyterian Church

The monthly Needle Nite at Fanwood Presbyterian Church will meet on the Friday, March 2nd at 7:30pm in Westminister Hall on Marian Ave.

The ‘Disappearing Nine Patch’ quilts that have been completed will be collected. These quilts will have labels attached to identify the maker in preparation for the nationally advertised Harvest Quilters show on March 31. This show will be held a Willow Grove Presbyterian Church.

mailto:needlenite@fanwoodpc.org.The nimble fingers of the knitters and those who crochet will continue to make items for various charities including several local nursing homes, the new-born in Newark Beth Israel Hospital, the ‘Christmas at Sea’ Seafarers projects and prayer shawls for those needing extra care.

If fabric, batting or yarn is needed e-mail your request to needlenite@fanwoodpc.org. The donated materials used end up in many forms usable by the charities that receive them. The Needle Nite participants then take their newly learned skills for their use at home.
